The design of this highly anticipated feature is in progress.
Here is an overview (not definitive) that shows that you can enter as many types of walls as you want.
Note that it will be possible to intervene facade by facade in terms of renovation scenarios.

Good morning,
After the release of the Audit module, we are now mobilized on this request, which is the most frequent from users. We are aware that for some, the limit to 2 types of walls is really blocking. So we're going to lift it up.
This summer we organized several workshops to outline what this feature could look like.
We will continue to keep you informed of the progress of the development of “multi-walls” on this channel.
Thank you for your trust, and see you soon.

Good morning,
Many of you are asking us on this subject and we are well aware of the limitation that this represents, especially on buildings that have already been partially renovated.
This year, you have certainly noticed that we have developed the functionality to manage multi-types of joinery. We're going to do the same for the walls and floors.
This functionality will be one of our priorities after the audit module.
In any case, it will not be available until, at best, mid-2024.

FLORENT: Yes, it's great what you did for the woodwork. Can't wait for it to happen for the walls:)

FLORENT I would just like to reaffirm that this is an essential feature to be able to use Cap Rénov+ today and in the future, because almost all projects are affected by this capital limit of your software. For my work It is an absolute priority to be able to characterize more than 2 walls, roofs,... If multi-walls are not included in the regulatory audit, I will have to move on to something else, while I appreciate Cap Rénov+;

DORN Marcel Thanks for your message. We know that the limitation to 2 types of walls and other walls is a real obstacle to use, especially in old buildings that are already partially renovated. This point will be studied as soon as we get out of the subject of regulatory energy auditing. Unfortunately we cannot deal with these topics at the same time.

Do you have an estimate for the implementation of this feature?
I have a lot of cases where I need more than 2 wall compositions (between partially renovated houses and partial insulation projects...)

I encounter projects where one of the walls overlooks a LNC (garage, barn,...) that belongs to the same owner. It is even a very common situation! It would be possible to insulate these walls from the outside (on the LNC side therefore), but Cap Rénov does not offer this solution (there are only ITI options). Can you add ITE to these walls? An adjoining wall is not necessarily a wall that cannot be insulated from the outside!

Good morning,
This feature will be taken into account when the architecture and composition of the walls are redesigned in a future version.

Floriane Rabanel:
I imagine we could do the same with the high and low floors.
thankyou

Have the possibility to define several types of insulation by facades or walls. Since we enter the areas per room, it must be possible to enter the insulation per room.
Thanks
